I honestly can’t say enough good things about Brian and my new pup, “Colt” — now Oliver.
I came across Brian’s website after losing my boy, Ozzie, the love of my life, in early April. I’ve been completely heartbroken, working through deep grief, but I also knew that someday I’d want another dog in the house. I’ve always loved being just a guy and his dog.

Several weeks ago, I met Brian and spent time with a different pup. As much as I loved that dog, I realized I wasn’t quite ready yet. Brian was incredibly patient — no pressure at all — and he kept the door open.

Fast forward to a few weeks later: I met Colt (now Oliver) and decided to take the plunge. It’s one of the best decisions I’ve made.

Brian answered all my (many) questions — it’s been years since I raised a puppy — and assured me the pup would be kennel trained and socialized. I thought, “Maybe socialized, but no way a 10-week-old puppy is truly kennel trained.” I was wrong.

On our first night together, Oliver took himself to bed at 9 p.m. sharp. He walked right into his crate and fell asleep. He’s slept there every night since. No separation anxiety, no stress — I can leave him in his playpen while I run errands and come home to a happy, calm, sleepy pup. Every fear I had about raising a puppy has disappeared.

He’s healthy, well-proportioned, confident, and has an incredible temperament.

Brian is an excellent breeder and so knowledgeable in every aspect of the puppies he breeds. He actually cares about the puppies well being and has made it a point that we update him with pics and videos of the puppy whenever we can. He had the perfect answers to any of our questions and explains why. We bought our 9 week old Frenchie from him and she is absolutely gorgeous. Wants us to text him at anytime with any questions and he always does his best to respond as quickly as possible. He even provided us with 2 weeks of food for her upon picking her up and after an immense of research he provides the best information and advice to ensure a long a beautiful life with the newest member of your family. Buying from a breeder can be scary for some and there are SO many breeders these days who don’t care for their animals, do it just for the money, and give REAL breeders a bad name, however I can tell you that you do not have to have a single ounce of worry when working with Brian and any of his litters. It makes me so sad how people have abused and ruined the idea of purchasing a puppy, because there are people in this world who do care, who do put the time in, who put the love into their animals as if they were their own children, and that type of person is what you’re getting with Brian. I had a family frenchie and when it was time to purchase my own I came across so many breeders who absolutely were in it for the money, who were cross breeding in unhealthy ways to get the “Fluffy Frenchie” look and it absolutely broke my heart. And honestly, I know the idea behind buying instead of “rescuing” these days is frowned upon by some, but honestly some of these breeders are willing to sell to anyone to make a dollar and those dogs end up in shelters needing a good home. Brian makes sure that every family is worth of HIS puppies, not the other way around. He cares who these babies go to, and in my opinion that’s just as important and impactful so that those babies DONT end up in shelters and needing to be rescued AGAIN. I have the absolute angel of a puppy, who is absolutely beautiful and as healthy/thriving as I’ve ever seen. It was such a blessing working with Brain, and his communication and care through the entire process was such a blessing. Because of him, I have an angel with me every single day that brings me so much joy and love, that I could have ever even thought was possible. I have had dogs my entire life, and adopting my French Bulldog Kaos from Brian and his family was by far the easiest, most thorough, and stress-free process. From his quick response to my inquiry on the pups, meeting them, putting a deposit down, picking Kaos up on my timeline (that Brian worked around because of my work schedule), to staying in contact months after for updates on the little guy – Brian CARES so much about these dogs and the breed. It is challenging to come across dog owners as committed to bringing healthy, well-adjusted, beautiful dogs into the world as Brian and his family. He truly is in this for the love of the breed. My Kaos (~5 months-old now) came crate-trained and does not suffer from separation anxiety, like many of Frenchies do; he absolutely adores people of all ages (including kids); and he just wants to love on and play with any and every dog he encounters. During his first visit with my Veterinarian, she said, “You did a great job picking this guy out!!” His nose is a bit longer, which is a huge plus for the breed – he likely won’t need any corrective surgery as he gets older. Backyard breeding needs to stop. You can find these pups in all of our shelters especially in LA. Stop exploiting animals for profit especially when hundreds are being euthanized all over Southern California. $3500 for a puppy? Get a real job! If just 6% of people who bought dogs would stop buying it would cut euthanasia down dramatically. Literally hundreds every single week are dieing. Stop the ridiculousness!

We highly recommend him. We lost our puppy from another bad breeder only 6 months before Winnie. We were recovering from our loss and were very cautious about bringing a new family member into our home. I purchased a baby Frenchie from Brian and it was a very pleasant experience. He was very professional and communicative, even after the transaction. He guided me though getting the puppies vaccines and switching over foods. The puppy itself is very smart and loving. He already has a solid concept of potty training at 10 weeks old. My Baby Puppy is legit! Brian has well-bred frenchie puppies at a really reasonable price. He breeds for pets, not for show dogs, so his pups have longer snouts and wider nostrils, which is an amazing thing he’s doing for this breed. His pups are also crate trained and he purposefully separates the pups at night when they get old enough to avoid developing separation anxiety.

We took home “Jaxx” from the most recent litter and he’s been socialized and exposed to new things incredibly well. He plays with our older frenchie nonstop and sleeps all night in his crate without crying. He’s also crazy smart, we got him less than a week ago and he’s already learning that ringing the wind chimes in his pen means that he has to go outside. He also hasn’t peed on us at all, in his crate/bed, on his toys, or near his food/water.

We’re really happy with this entire experience and highly recommend My Baby Puppy.

Brian was responsive and a legit breeder. I found him through a friend who just recently got their frenchie too. He gave us his shot records and we brought him to his furever home.
